Young Man Raises Over $9,500 For Special Olympics

I’ve got to know Cole over the years at the Polar Plunge in Wisconsin Rapids.  Always excited to get the day started with the Special Olympics Athlete Oath, Cole is the first in the water and can then be seen five-fiving everyone after they take the leap.  I was witness to the first year this awesome dude jumped and I was there when he made his 6th consecutive jump on February 1st, 2020.  People might say that raising money for a cause is impossible, and use excuses like they don’t have the time or they don’t want to ask people for the money.  Well, I think of guys like Cole.  Asking everyone that he meets sometimes multiple times over the course of a week if they would sponsor him for the Polar Plunge.  $50, $100 and often times $5, it doesn’t matter.  No amount is to big or to small.   Cole is relentless and that’s how this young man can raise as much money as 100 people.  Don’t believe me?  This year for the 2020 Polar Plunge Cole by himself raised $9,549!  Over the the last six years Cole has raised more that $30,0000!  Cole is an amazing person and this video is prof just how much he loves Special Olympics Wisconsin.

Thank you to all who continue to support Cole and other athletes locally and throughout the state of Wisconsin. As Cole would say, “You rock!”
